Day 2 - to die for… fun fun fun - berms, jumps & fast flowing dense forest single track that don’t stop (keep them for next year please).
Big shout out to the Endurade water stations - friendliest crew around. Good quality energy & electrolyte drinks & bars. Drinks are ice cold every time every year. Love the solid ‘old style food for champions’ like the bread sandwiches & bananas.
Good food good trails.
Can’t wait for the next one.
You can treat this event as a serious race or, as I prefer, a fantastic ride with good friends with time to stop & take a photo or two.

Our accommodation was excellent and the routes magnificent. Best marked routes ever. You just could not go wrong. Distances and elevation very accurate. Stunning system of where you fit in at start with coloured bands. The vegetation and views made it extra special as well. I will definitely do this event again.

Set in the picturesque Hogsback mountains, 200 adventure bikers tackle some trails and scenic routes through the lush Amatola Forest. Hogsback, and its immediate surroundings of Katberg, Cathcart, Stutterheim, Thomas River, all with their own signature tracks, make this Adventure Bike heaven!

After staging the Forest Boogie in Tsitsikamma for the last two years, we have decided to make it a two-day mountain bike stage race and move the venue to the Arminel Hotel in Hogsback. The Forest Boogie will have Gold and Silver, with a separate e-bike class that will tackle the Gold route.

JBFE Sea to Sea South is designed for the Weekend Warrior, keen on experiencing the Wild Coast and being part of an epic adventure but not in the mood for extreme enduro. Take on 4 or 6 timed stages and hammer it along some of the most iconic sections in the Western Cape while venturing into Oak Valley, Paul Cluver and up the infamous Hans se Kop Climb.
